About the Shaykh: 

 

Shaykh Abdurrahmann has worked in multiple Da'wah offices in Saudi Arabia as an educator, translator and mentor for new Muslims. He has also authored articles in many fields of Islamic study and worked as a translator and reviewer for the following Islamic websites: (islamhouse.com / islamland.org / islamreligion.com). He has worked with Al-Jumuah magazine as a translator and editor and is currently working on the revision of the translation of the Meanings of the Quran. Besides this, he also counsels new Muslims and has developed programs for understanding Islam.

Shaykh Abdurrahmann has translated and written numerous works, many of which are published and distributed world-wide. Among them is 'Muhammad the Messenger of Allah' and 'The Key to Understanding Islam'. He has also delivered a number of Islamic presentations on the topics of Aqeedah/Tafsir/Fiqh/Hadeeth and Islamic history in Saudi Arabia, Canada and other parts of the world. 

He has written a book on the laws of inheritance, a subject on which he has also delivered courses, and has practiced the division of estates in Canada, USA & Saudi Arabia. 

The Shaykh has been involved with numerous Islamic centers across Canada; he was previously the Imam at Masjid Omar al-Farooq in Vancouver. 

Currently, he is the Imam of MarkazulIslam (Ft. McMurray - Alberta) and also an instructor with Al Kauthar Institute.
